7th FUNDAMENTAL RIGHTS PLATFORM - The Role of Civil Society regarding EU Strategic Guidelines
Last Thursday and Friday, around 200 civil society organisations gathered for the Annual FRP meeting in Vienna, to discuss the contribution of civil society to the new EU strategic guidelines in the area of freedom, security and justice. On the first day a workshop on Capacity Building and HRE took place. Elena Begant, DARE Network representative to FRP, chaired the session and led participants into identifiyng the needs, successes and challenges of civil society regarding HRE.
On the second day the meeting devoted much time to working groups and the “Floor is Yours” sessions hosted by civil society organisations, inviting participation and co-creation of meeting outcomes.

Also the new Advisory Pannel of FRP was elected for the next two years.
